Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you or your business. This page explains how. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.

How to ask

Email hello@btrconsult.net with the subject Data deletion.

Please include:

• your name, and your business name if the request is for a business
• the email address or WhatsApp number we would know you by
• what you want deleted, for example WhatsApp conversations, data from your Google account, a Signal Score report, or everything we hold about you

We may ask one question to confirm the request comes from you. We never ask for a password.

What happens next

We confirm your request and tell you what we have deleted within 30 days.

WhatsApp conversation data

This covers conversations with BTR on WhatsApp, and conversations with a business whose WhatsApp number we run for them. If you messaged one of our clients, we delete your conversation data on the client’s behalf and let the client know, because the client is responsible for that data (see section 7 of the Privacy Policy).

Google data

If you are a client and connected a Google account, you can remove our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. We delete the data we received from Google within 30 days after you disconnect, or sooner if you ask.

What we may have to keep

The law requires us to keep some records, such as payment, invoice and tax records, for a set time. If your request covers them, we tell you which records we keep, why, and for how long. We delete them when that time ends.
